This past weekend, Saturday October 26th, Hamilton's Robert Schiek ran in the regional cross-country race. Robert ran a 18:17 to make it out of the sectionals. Then, in regionals, he ran a 5:21 first mile on his way to a solid 19:18 overall time. Robert would have finished much higher, but another runner accidentally knocked him down. Still, he finished 204th out of 250 runners. And as only a sophomore, he has a promising future ahead of him. Schiek looks forward to running this race again next year, and hopes it's with a few others in his class who show promise. Great job Robert way to represent Hamilton!
