The girls traveled to East Noble to compete in their last meet of the year, Sectionals, yesterday, May 15th. Jalynn Hinkley ran a 22.83 in her 100 hurdles . Our freshmen, Pheobe Light and Makayla Schnetzler both ran their hearts out in their 100 hundred heat, but came up short of qualifying for Regionals. Our ladies did well in their throwing, with freshman Annalise Lingo throwing 86 feet in discus, and junior Taylor Harger threw a personal best in discus with 72 feet. Last but not least, senior Jasmine Schiek wrapped up four years of competition in 100 hurdles and 300 hurdles. She came within .03 of a her personal best in the 300 hurdles, at 55.65. Great job Lady Marines and Congratulations to Jasmine Schiek for a great final season. The boys will travel back to East Noble for their own Sectionals on Thursday May 16th, Good Luck Marines!!
