What should have been a beautiful Senior Night on Tuesday evening quickly turned into a wet, cold track meet for those involved. As a result, Senior Night ceremonies have been moved to coincide with the softball and baseball Senior Nights. However, despite the miserable weather, Hamilton did very well. The boys defeated Lakewood Park Christian 74-23, Gateway Woods 67-26 and Smith Academy 88-0; while falling to Elkhart Christian 36-76 and Blackhawk Christian 34-78. The Girls on the other hand were only defeated by Blackhawk Christian 24-71. Their winning scores were Elkhart Christian 44-41, Lakewood Park Christian 48-14, Smith Academy 61-0 and Gateway Woods 61-0.
Individual places for the boys were: Copper Farnham 3rd in the 800m run, Harry Richter 1st in discus and 2nd in high jump, Caleb McMullen 3rd in the 110m and 300m hurdles and Jagger Hurraw 3rd in the high jump. The 4x100m relay team placed 2nd and the 4x400m relay team placed 3rd.
Individual places for the girls were: Jasmine Schiek 1st in the 100m hurdles and 2nd in the 300m hurdles, Jalynn Hinkley 3rd in the 300m hurdles, and Annalise Lingo 1st in discus and 2nd in shot put. Both the 4x100m and 4x400m relay teams placed 2nd.
